Herewith we would like to invite you to the Chamber Joint IT and HR Committees Meeting: "Implementation of the Law "On Personal Data Protection" in HR and IT Areas (Horizon Park Business Center, 12, Amosova vul., 15 Floor).
The agenda of the meeting will be the following:
I. Presentation for HR-Managers of Chamber Member Companies on "How to Comply with the Law and to Protect Employees' Personal Data?" by Ms. Yuliya Cherkashina, Attorney-at-Law, Senior Associate, Paritet Law Firm.
The Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Increased Responsibility for Violations of Personal Data Protection” enters into force on January 1st, 2012 and introduces administrative and criminal liability for violation of the mentioned legislation. Thus the employers have about 100 days left to bring personal data processing in accordance with the law
The questions to be covered in the presentation include the following:
1. Action plan on employees personal data protection:
- Filing of employees’ consents about their personal data processing;
- Personal data processing procedure;
- Notification of employees on actions with their personal data;
- Passing employees’ personal data to the third parties.
2. Creation and registration of employees’ personal data bases:
- What personal data are included into data base?
- How can be used the personal data from the data base?
3. Grounds for liability for the Personal Data Protection Law violation and how to avoid them.
4. Q&A session.
II. “PDP in IT outsourcing: peculiarities, potential problems and risks”, by Mr. Vadym Shestakov, Associate, Paritet Law Firm;
Working language of the meeting will be Ukrainian.
No preliminary registration is required.
